There's always something to celebrate at our school! From exciting events to proud moments and everyday wins, here are some of our highlights.
A year at our school
Term 1 2025
We welcome our new Kindergarten students and families, helping them settle into school life with activities such as Meet the Teacher and Welcome Back Community BBQ. These events allow parents and carers to meet and connect with staff and explore the classrooms.
Throughout the term, students take part in key whole-school events including the Swimming Carnival and Cross Country Carnival. Our Stage 3 students enjoy the opportunities to represent the school through various PSSA sport.
Our unique space and facilities allow us to make the most of the large, grassed spaces to active and outdoor learning experiences, encouraging healthy, active lifestyle.
Term 2 2025
During Term 2 we offer a mix of academic, sporting and transition opportunities for students. Our Athletics Carnival is a highlight, giving students a chance to participate, compete and cheer on their peers.
We offer students a range of creative, intellectual, academic and physical opportunities meetings all students potential.
Year 6 students begin preparing their high school transition programs, helping them with this process of change.
Teachers engage in mid-year reporting, providing families with updates on student progress and learning goals for the second half of the year.
Term 3 2025
This is a term focused on celebrating creativity, culture and connection. Our focus on the Creative Arts sees students participating in our bi-annual school concert, Lismore Performing Arts Festival and Dance X competitions.
Students attend camps, building independence, teamwork, and resilience in their new environments.
We celebrate key events such as Book Week, Education Week, engaging students in literacy activities and opening our classrooms to families. NAIDOC week is another important highlight giving students the chance to deepen their understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories and cultures.
Term 4 2025
Term 4 is a time of reflection and consolidation as we wrap up the school year. Our community comes together for end of year events and Christmas celebrations.
We celebrate our Year 6 students with a range of farewell events, acknowledging their contributions and preparing them for the transition to high school. Kindergarten Orientation welcomes the next cohort of students, helping them feel comfortable and excited about the year ahead.
All students enjoy an end of year fun day with a different activity each year to finish on a fun and positive note building on connection and relationships. Teachers finally provide end of year reports to families, celebrating achievements and setting foals for the future.
